Just wanted to send you a couple reminders for this Sunday, October 12, 2008.
- We are going to be taking a special one time offering for our Fall Renovation Projects. You will have an opportunity to give a one time gift, pledge a one time gift, and/or pledge a weekly or monthly amount to be given over the next six months. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to complete the kitchen in the Connection Center and to carpet and paint the main church building.
- We will also be rededicating the Connection Center In Loving Memory of George Byrom. Please stay after church for the dedication service followed by cake and lemonade.
Also, for those of you who signed up for the Movie/Date night... we will meet at Ruby Tuesday's on Harbison at 5 pm for dinner and at the Columbiana Grand theater by 7 pm to see the movie "Fireproof". I will have your prepaid tickets at the theater. Anyone else is welcome to join us, however, you will have to purchase your own tickets at the theater.
To coincide with the Fireproof movie, Pastor Ray will do a mini sermon series on marriage starting this Sunday with "The Ten Commandments of Marriage". The series will include a "Fireproofing your Finances" using God's principles. Don't miss this short series on marriage!
