Church in the Park and our Annual Church Picnic –

at 9:45 am!
Street Address: 5500 Broad River Road To find Harbison State Forest Park (from the church) take I-26 to Exit 103 (Harbison Blvd.). Turn left at the light and proceed to Broad River Road. Turn right, go through one traffic light, then turn left at the Harbison State Forest road sign. Your destination is the Gazebo, go through the gate, past the Education Center road, then take the first left. Take the first right - the gazebo, picnic area, and restrooms are on your right. Let them know at the gate that you are with New Life Community Church.
What time do we meet? Service at 9:45 am
Meet at the Park Gazebo at 9:45 am for our regular worship service. There will be no Sunday School classes on that day – you can come as early as 9:30am.
Will there be a nursery? Yes and No…
Our regularly scheduled nursery workers will be able to take walking age nursery children (ages 1-4) for a “nature walk” near the gazebo but will be unable to accommodate infant nursery needs. Bring your own supplies!
Will there be Children’s Church? No…
We will have specific games for the children after lunch
How should we dress? For a picnic of course!
Comfortably and modestly and don’t forget the sunscreen!
What will we be doing? Worship, Lunch, Games
We will have our regular worship & church service (complete with our musicians, ushers and offerings!) followed by a picnic lunch and games for the whole family to enjoy. Join us for this annual event!
What should we bring? Here is a list of things:
Bring a lawn chair for seating during the service and/or a blanket to sit on.
Bring your own picnic lunch, drinks etc…grills will be provided to cook on.
Bring any lawn games you might have (ie: Bocci etc)
