1. This coming Sunday, Dec 12, we will have Serving6 with us for a special Christmas dinner and concert. The dinner starts at 5:30 pm in the Connection Center. Cost: $8 per person and $25 family maximum cost. Choice of meats, side dishes, dessert - all prepared for you! Just let us know you will be attending! The concert starts at 7 pm in the sanctuary. A love offering will be taken. Serving6 is a 6 member family band that brings a message of hope that will touch people of any age! 2. We have several opportunities for year-end giving if you are considering a special gift or are able to make a donation...
- Gift Cards for families in need: If you would like to get a gift card for a family in need, please do so this week. You can put it in the offering this week. Please mark the envelope with the amount. We suggest cards for general merchandise stores like Wal-Mart or Target, but any card would be a blessing!
- Building Fund: We will be presenting a building renovation in January to the church. If you would like to get a donation in this year toward it, please mark your gift "Building Fund" and turn it in by Dec 31.
- Guatemala Missions Trip: We are sending a team back to Guatemala in February to work on the Bible school building. Your donations will go towards the trip and construction supplies for the project.
4. The following Sunday, December 19, is our Christmas Candlelight service at 7 pm. Come enjoy the quiet time of reflection on the Light of the World through Scripture, songs and story. Then light a candle and help us take that light outside into the world.
*Just a reminder - we will not be having Wed night classes on Dec 22 and Dec 29 and we will not be having Sunday School on Sun Dec 26 and Jan 2. We will have regular worship service at 10:30 am on those Sundays.
